Your first visit to our practice establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information and give you time to get to know our staff. To understand what to expect from your first visit to our practice, please read through this page.
Upon meeting you for the first time, we like to begin with a comprehensive exam and associated cleaning. This gives us an overall accurate picture of your dental health. If you have multiple concerns you would like to address, we will lay out a plan with multiple options tailored specifically to your goals and finances. You are just as much a part of this exam as we are – we want you to fully understand your options and reach your goals with optimism and comfort. Dr. Patella explains xrays and takes intraoral photos – he feels it is very important for you to not only understand how to correct a problem, but also how to potentially avoid a similar scenario in the future.
If your immediate goal is to focus on a particular area of concern (toothache, broken tooth, swelling, etc.), we do our best to see all emergency patents the day the call is made. After all medical/dental hstory s completed and reviewed, we will listen to your concern, take any necessary xrays and intraoral photos, and discuss your options for treatment.
Patella Dental accepts most insurances and CareCredit financing. We will lay out your treatment plan along with any insurance benefits that apply and give you different payment options to help make your dental health needs possible. Please call the office and we will be happy to further assist you.
